Amalie Jakobsen’s 5.4-meter-high steel sculpture Shape Shifter Shape Shifter from 2019 is located in the outdoor area in front of the entrance to Næstved Gymnasium & HF. As a visual landmark, it welcomes students, teachers, and passers-by.

Jakobsen’s work has been exhibited widely at national and international institutions such as Gammel Strand, ARKEN Museum of Contemporary Art, Politikens Forhal, the Boros Collection, Feral, and STCFTHOTS. Her public installations include commissions for Ringe Prison, Atrium Seine, and the Danish Immigration Service Office.
